La Fortezza Sudamericana was the group’s first non-Italian company: set up in Buenos Aires in 1995, it began producing shelving and checkouts in 1998.
In 2006 it acquired Duplo SA, an important company specialised in the checkout sector, thus confirming the Group’s leadership in Argentina and its positioning on the entire continent.
The production plant was established to offer the South American market the same quality as the Italian products with greater logistics functionality and punctuality. It currently occupies 12,000 sqm under cover and also includes an in-house carpentry section dedicated to the production of all the specialised equipment.
